Drinking red wine on Mars may protect against muscle atrophy

April 17, 2019 /0 Comments/in News /by Katelyn BurkhartCongratulations on the publications of two new manuscripts! ‘In vitro injection of osteoporotic cadaveric femurs with a triphasic calcium‐based implant confers immediate biomechanical integrity’ was published in the Journal of Orthopaedic Research (link). ‘Influence of soft tissue on bone density and microarchitecture measurements by high-resolution peripheral quantitative computed tomography’ was published in Bone (link).

Dr. Bouxsein is the first woman ever to be a Harvard Full Professor in Orthopedics from BIDMC, and the 3rd woman to be a full professor in Orthopedics at Harvard Medical School.
