Congratulations to Dr. Fjola Johannesdottir on having her recent grant from the National Institute of Health featured in BIDMC’s Orthopaedic Connections newsletter! Her 2-year grant will use a valuable new technique for estimating hip fracture risk via a biomechanical approach to predict who is at risk for falling and breaking a hip and compare it to current methods of predicting hip fracture.
